The Task:A fast responsive website that reflects the luxury brand.
The Solution
This project was truly a dream job. Having worked on the old website for years, I had a clear vision of what needed fixing, and I knew the best way to address those issues was by starting fresh. We decided to ditch the page builders and went with a custom theme instead. Mark’s brand is strong, and he has a precise vision for his desired vibe. I drew a lot of inspiration from luxury brands that exude “If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it” vibes. This wasn’t because Mark’s price point is high but because he’s about bringing luxury to the people.
From the moment we started brainstorming, it was clear that Mark valued quality and attention to detail. This allowed me to explore sophisticated design elements and a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The goal was to create a website that looked high-end and provided a seamless user experience. Each element was carefully considered, from the typography to the colour palette, ensuring that everything aligned with Mark’s vision of understated elegance.
I love this project most because Mark is an ongoing client. We’ve worked together for a long time, and both of us understand that this isn’t the final iteration of the site. We’re both excited to launch it, watch it evolve, and adapt to the market as we go. This continuous collaboration means that we can stay ahead of trends and consistently improve the site based on user feedback and changing market dynamics.
Throughout the design process, I focused on a clean and uncluttered layout, allowing the brand and the products to speak for themselves. High-quality images, ample white space, and intuitive navigation were key design components. We wanted users to feel a sense of luxury and sophistication from the moment they landed on the homepage, reinforcing the brand’s message and creating a memorable experience.
