MinSort

The Task:Rebuild the existing MinSort website — originally developed in another CMS — into a flexible, easy-to-manage WordPress platform. The goal was to modernise the system while maintaining existing content and functionality, introduce flexible content blocks for future expansion, and create a secure private portal for stakeholders. The rebuild needed to improve stability, streamline content management, and provide a strong foundation for future growth and integration.

The MinSort project required a complete rebuild of an existing site that had been developed in another CMS, transitioning it into WordPress for greater flexibility and ease of management. We began by mapping and migrating all core content, ensuring nothing was lost during the transfer. From there, we rebuilt the site structure to make it more scalable and maintainable, laying a clean foundation for future updates and integrations.

To give the MinSort team full control over their content, we developed a series of flexible, reusable ACF blocks. These blocks allowed the client to easily build and modify pages while maintaining consistent styling and structure — eliminating the need for developer input on routine updates.

A key part of the project was the creation of a private stakeholder portal. This secure section of the site allows authorised users to log in and access internal documentation, reports, and media resources. The portal was designed with a focus on usability and access control, ensuring data security while keeping management simple for administrators.

The final result is a streamlined, modern WordPress site that supports MinSort’s operations and provides a robust platform for ongoing growth and communication.
